Here's the story:
Last Wednesday, my sister won a $25 gas card on the Huggies Rewards website HERE, by the advice of my friend Sarah who told her to get codes HERE. Sarah had just won a $25 gas card as well. Well, I wanted to win one too! (Who wouldn't?) So, I got my free codes, used all 76 points and got...NOTHING.
How is that exciting?

On Freebies4Mom.com, there was a reference to a blog called Sweetie's Sweeps, along with a few pointers that this "Sweetie" person (or Wendy, as I later found out) had come up with in relation to entering contests. So...curious...I went back on Thursday and clicked on over.
Wow!!!! This website is AMAZING! I don't want to give too much away because I insist that you go check it out yourself, but let's just say, this lady knows what she is talking about. I read her story and was immediately intrigued. She has been "sweeping" since 1993 and won some really awesome prizes. Have you seen the movie "The Prize Winner of Defiance Ohio"? It reminds me a little of that! If you haven't seen that movie, you need to rent it...it's great! Anyway, her house is filled with prizes that she has won. Not only can you read her story and others' on her site, but she gives you oodles of great information so that you can start sweeping and playing instant win games right away. She even does the hard work for you by researching sweepstakes and finding the most "winnable" ones and posting them to her site. There is so much info on her site that I can't even begin to tell you all of it. I spent a couple of hours exploring and then I clicked on my first sweepstakes. I spent a good two hours that night entering sweeps and playing instant win games. It was actually a lot of fun!
That night I had my first win. I won a wallpaper download from Hubba Bubba. I know, I know...kinda small, right? Well, I was excited anyway.
The next day, I won again! This time I won a Rascall Flatts song download. Still not much, but a little better! I don't even listen to Rascall Flatts, but I was happy! :-)
Saturday, I didn't win a thing.
One of the tips that Wendy shares on her site is that you might have better luck winning if you enter between the times of 3-5am EST, since that seems to be the slowest time for Internet traffic.
Sunday morning, I did the unthinkable. I set my alarm for 4am, dragged myself out of bed, and with drooping eyelids, I began clicking away. Right about 4:20am, something incredible happened!
I won!!! And not just a silly wallpaper download or a song download..
I won $100 cash!!!
Can you believe it?? I couldn't! I was so super excited and sat there with absolutely no one to call, since it was still before the break of dawn.
Needless to say, I am hooked!!! I know I won't always win, and when I do the prizes won't always be big...but who knows...every once in a while...they could be great!
So, anyway, I am now TOTALLY COMPLETELY UNDENIABLY a HUGE FAN of Sweetie's Sweeps!!!!! If you're interested in getting started in some sweeps or instant win games, visit her site...it gets an A+++++ and a "Super!" sticker in my book!!!
