TGIF
Well, it's Friday again and we made it through another week of school. Nothing major happened this week other than my son told me yesterday that he has to start going to speech once a week. I was a little confused because while I always thought he was having a little bit of difficulty with some of his letter pronunciations, I specifically asked his teacher about it a couple of years ago and she said that his speech was "just fine." She even said that everyone is evaluated by the speech therapist a couple times a year and that if there would have been a problem she would have requested to see him on a regular basis. Hmmm. Well, he's in third grade now, and apparently they have decided that his speech is no longer "just fine." So, he will now be seeing the speech therapist every week and at least maybe he will learn how to pronounce his "r"s. We shall see. Thank God it's Friday!

I started in speech at ISU when I was 4 for a multitude of issues (couldn't hear clearly), but "r"s were my hardest letter to say properly. I went thru speech in grade school until 3rd grade.
Aw! I love the way he talks...I don't him to lose his New Jersey accent!!!!!!!
